Useful details, traceable to their source. No invented clinics, prices or accreditation badges.

What this pilot covers

This is an initial set of 48 real organisations and practices, not every assessor in Australia. Local assessment listings currently cover Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, Western Australia, with some national telehealth services. A provider is counted once in each state where it has a listed local service, even if it has multiple branches.

We list assessment services, not a general therapy or coaching directory. Each assessment, age group and appointment format must have source support. Suspended or announced future clinics are not counted as active local services. A town-only location is labelled when a visiting street address has not been established; postal addresses are not used as clinic map destinations. Where a service has restrictions, the profile describes them. An unlisted service may exist but has not been established by our reviewed sources.

Where the data comes from

  1. Provider websites. Only publish a claim when the clinic or practitioner page clearly says it. Otherwise show Not published in source.
  2. APS Find a Psychologist. Use as a discovery source only unless an individual profile gives publishable contact and assessment details. APS notes its directory gives access to thousands of psychologists and supports searches by issue, location and area of practice.
  3. RANZCP Your Health in Mind: Find a psychiatrist. Use as a discovery source and link back to provider/practitioner pages for detailed assessment claims. The directory says information is provided by individual psychiatrists and users should contact psychiatrists directly about practice, skills and qualifications.
  4. Ahpra public register. Use to verify regulated practitioner registration. Do not treat registration as proof that the practitioner offers autism or ADHD assessments.
  5. Healthdirect service finder. Use as a discovery source, then confirm assessment-specific details on the provider page.
  6. State and territory public health pathways. List public pathways separately from private assessors. Do not imply self-referral if a referral is required.

What has and has not been checked

Sources were reviewed on 27 September 2026. "Source-linked" means the provider's own page supports the listing; it does not mean the clinic confirmed it with us. We have not independently checked individual Ahpra registration, diagnostic training, prescribing authority, current appointments, clinical quality or report acceptance.

We distinguish professional registration, specialist education and prescribing authority. We do not infer accreditation from an association membership, course logo, NDIS status or directory appearance.

Fair presentation

Default ordering is alphabetical. There are no paid rankings, advertisements, payments or live enquiry forms. Published fees are dated examples, not guaranteed quotes. We do not copy reviews or assign clinical ratings.

Corrections and maintenance

This pilot has no public submission inbox or automatic verification feed. Contact details should be checked on the linked provider website before use. The site owner must review source evidence before adding or amending a listing; no correction is treated as verified solely because it is submitted. Source dates remain visible so older information is recognisable.

Publication policy

Public guides, category pages and real provider profiles are indexable. Filtered search and comparison pages are marked noindex. Search indexing and traffic are not guaranteed.
